Fexo Parking Privacy Policy
Fexo FZC LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices when using the Fexo Parking mobile application (the “App”).
What we collect & why
- Location (precise, while in use): to save your parked car location, find it later, and determine eligibility for Pay for Parking (currently UAE-only). We do not upload your real-time location to our servers; saved coordinates are stored locally on your device.
- Photos (optional): if you attach a parking photo, it is stored locally; we do not scan or upload it.
- Device identifiers & diagnostics (via SDKs): our providers (e.g., Google Mobile Ads, OneSignal) may process advertising identifiers, push tokens, IP address, coarse location, and diagnostics for ads delivery, notifications, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Permissions we request
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION(Android) / “While Using the App” (iOS): show your position and save/find parking.INTERNET: load maps, ads, and remote content.VIBRATE(Android): haptic feedback.- (If enabled in future)
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATIONor background location will only be requested if a feature truly needs it, with in-app explanation.
Regional availability
Pay for Parking is currently available in the United Arab Emirates. Other features (save/find, map view) are generally available worldwide except where prohibited by law.
Third-party SDKs
- Google Maps SDK (Android/iOS) — map rendering and interactions.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — banner/rewarded ads; may use advertising identifiers, rough location, IP, and diagnostics.
- OneSignal — push notifications; stores a push token/device identifier to deliver notifications.
These providers process data under their own policies. We do not sell personal data.
How we use data
- Operate core features (save/find parking; UAE eligibility check).
- Provide ads and optional notifications.
- Security, fraud prevention, debugging, and compliance.
Storage & retention
- Saved parking entries (coordinates, optional notes/photo path) are stored locally until you remove them.
- Push tokens and ads identifiers are retained by providers per their policies or until you disable notifications/ads personalization at OS level.
Your choices
- Permissions: grant/deny in system settings; location is required for core features.
- Delete local data: clear saved parkings in the app; reinstalling removes local data.
- Notifications: toggle in system settings or within the app (OneSignal).
- Ads personalization: reset/limit your device’s advertising ID in OS settings.
- Access/Deletion requests: email parking@fexo.app.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
International transfers
We may use service providers outside your country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for data transfers.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., transport encryption, least-privilege access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version with an updated “Effective” date.
